The event will take place on August 29, 2019 at the magnificent James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami. The production and hosting of the show will be led by prominent television presenter Fernando Arau, an icon of Latino comedy in the US and president of the production house Permanent Shows, Inc. Creative Production.
In just three years, the Estrellas Digitales Awards Show has become the most highly anticipated event of the year, celebrating and recognizing Hispanic digital stars, influencers and viral sensations in Spanish. On August 29th hundreds of thousands will watch the event transmitted and recorded simultaneously via Facebook Live, Instagram Live and YouTube Live utilizing twelve sophisticated mobile phone cameras. The design and use of high end mobile phone technology will be unique and innovative.
Through the power of influence the ‘Estrellas Digitales’ Awards Show directly reached over 30 million people in 2018; as a result, DALCROMA, the founding company of the “Estrellas Digitales”, has launched a philanthropic initiative and will donate a portion of the proceeds of the event to a non-profit organization. The non-profit organization selected for 2019 is “Miami Family Friendly Hands”.

The nominees are selected by a committee composed of executives from DALCROMA and prominent journalists, television professionals, publicists and digital marketing experts. Nominees are evaluated not only by the large number of followers, but also by the “engagement” and the creation of original content with positive impact. For the first time Estrellas Digitales will allow the public to vote for the winners in each category.
